A governance model has been developed to ensure the longevity, sustainability and protection of the park for generations to come. Heritage North Bay (HNB) is the governing body that currently oversees operations of the North Bay and Area Museum (Discovery Centre) and the Heritage Railway and Carousel Company.  Once the park is complete  HNB will oversee the operation and administration of the waterfront.  HNB is currently comprised of representatives from CWF, the City, and several of North Bay’s cultural and historical groups including, the North Bay and Area Museum, Heritage Gardeners, Heritage Carousel, and Heritage Railway.
